Dr. Muhammed Shaloob is the Sr. Interventional Cardiologist and Medical Affairs Director of MICC. Apart from being a senior consultant in MICC, he is also the chief Cardiologist and Managing Director of Leo Metro Cardiac Center in Wayanad. He visits every week to see OPD and perform complex angioplasties and other Cardiac interventions. Leo Metro Cardiac center mainly takes care of STEMI patients in Wayanad by performing primary angioplasties. He also visits Dubai once in every month as a specialist cardiologist. In Dubai, he also provides consultation and follow-ups to cardiac patients from the Middle East and Africa who have undergone complex procedures at MICC, India. He is an Associate Faculty and attends leading interventional cardiac conferences like TCT (USA), and India live (India), presenting complex procedures performed by him. His work has received immense appreciation from leading Cardiologists across the globe during these conferences. Dr. Muhammed Shaloob worked as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in Fathima Hospital Calicut, Apollo Hospital Secunderabad, and Apollo Hospital Karimnagar. He has Individually performed more than 9000 Coronary/Peripheral interventions, including Biventricular Pacemaker Implantation (CRT) and Intra Cardiac Defibrillator Implantation (ICD). He has good experience managing patients in the Heart Failure Clinic in Apollo Hospital Secunderabad (which has one of the highest implantations of CRT/ICD devices.) He has taken that experience to MICC and is presently following up with several patients with heart failure.
