Dr T.P.V SURENDRAN

Passed BSc in natural science from 1st batch of Devagiri college in the year 1960 ,joined in Caliccut Medical College in the 4th batch .After graduation worked as a tutor in pharmacology for one year,then joined as assistant surgeon in Kerala health service and the First posting was in Mananthavadi Taluk hospital -the present Govt Medical college ,with additional charge of Porunnannur health centre -the year was 1967 .

Worked 16 years in Government service in various places like Thalasseri hospital,Irikkur ,Kuttiyadi, Kalpetta from where I was transferred due to a strained relationship with a local politician .Fed-up with these type of political atrocities I was forced to stop serving the public through Government and decided to enter in the private sector which was not at all a pleasant affair for me initially !

Started LEO hospital in a small way in 1982 ,developed to the present status of 100 bedded hospital with almost all important specialties and all facilities including MRI scan .

In 2014 LEO METRO cardiac centre was started as a joint venture of Metro Med International Cardiac centre and LEO Hospital where Dr Shaloob the cardiologist as Managing Director and myself as the Chairman.
